‘I Want to Talk’ Box Office Collection Day 5: Abhishek Bachchan’s Film Collects only Rs 1.7 Cr

Shojit Sircar’s movie ‘I Want to Talk’, has looks to be struggling in the box office. On the opening day, Abhishek Bachchan’s movie made Rs 25 lakh. The film shows how a father goes through emotional ups and downs after being diagnosed with terminal illness orthe  fourth stage of cancer.

On the opening day it made Rs 25 lakh, then second day was very hopeful. On first Saturday and Sunday it made Rs 55 Cr and Rs 53 Cr. Now after 5 days the film has managed to make total revenue of Rs 1.7 Cr.

I Want to Talk at the 55th International Film Festival of India

The movie director Shoojit Sircar was present at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). There he expressed, ‘I Want to Talk film is a film beyond words. It is about the emotions you feel while watching the movie.’

Even Amitabh Bachchan said proudly, ‘ I smile today with pride and emotion for my son Abhishek Bachchan. It brings immense happiness and admiration to see him get such appreciation.’ Big B also shared a post saying, ‘Some films invite you to be entertained, some films invite you to be the film. I Want to talk is one of that. It picks you from the seat and places you in inside the film.’

Movie Cast & Fees

Abhishek Bachchan has played the character of Arjun in this film. Apart from him Ahilya Bamroo, Johny Lever and Jayant Kriplani can bee seen in this film. As per the report the movie is made with a budget of Rs 40 Cr. But casting fees for the movie has not been revealed yet.

All tough box office numbers are under performing the review for ‘I Want to Talk’ is very much positive. Critics have praised Abhishek Bachchan’s acting performance in the film.

On movie rating platform IMDb ‘I want to Talk’ got 7.3 out of 10. Which shows positive impact on viewers. It also managed to get 7.1 rating in Book My Show out of 10.
