Winter has started to give chills in almost every state of the country. The capital city Delhi has been heavily affected due to the dense fog. Schools have declared holidays and transport is also affected. The situation will not improve rather might get worse says the Indian Meteorological Department. Foggy weather might affect Delhi’s neighboring areas and Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as well.
Dense Fog will affect Daily life
IMD Press release says Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Madhya Pradesh are having fog problems. Visibility on roads is also decreasing. This situation might continue till 21st November.
Cyclonic Circulation Formation
A cyclonic circulation has been forming over the Maldives, which is going towards the Arabian sea. This might bring changes in the weather of cities surrounding the Arabian sea in southern parts of India.
Rainfall Alert in Some States
As per IMD report some parts of India will see rain with thunderstorms. Most likely Tamil Nadu and Kerala will be affected by rain. Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, and Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu, and Thrissur, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode, and Wayanad Kerala will see rain showers along with a temperature dip.
West Bengal Weather
Winter has entered in west bengal from 15th November. Temperatures have already fallen 2-3 degrees and in some districts some more. No rain forecast in southern districts. North Bengal districts are also free from rain says the weather department. Apart from this temperatures are about to fall rapidly in early December.
