Storyline
The film Kanguva is a fantasy action drama. The storyline is set to 1070 AD, two different timelines are there. A tribal prince is trying to save its people from 1070 ad timeline mysteriously dangerous bunty hunter. Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani plays the lead roles in it.
Budget and Cast
Kanguva was made with a budget of Rs 350 Crore. Where Suriya took Rs 39 Crore as acting fees. Bobby Deol got Rs 5 Crore and Disha Patani Rs 3 Crore for their part. The film also has Yogi Babu, Karthi, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Salara, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj and many more.
Critics Review
Critics and viewers praised Suriya’s acting, but the film was criticized for its loud music and screenplay. All though it created a big buzz before release it failed to grab viewers attention out side regional circle. Till day 4 hindi version only managed to made Rs 10 Crore in sales.
