New PAN 2.0
The PAN 2.0 will provide new PAN Cards with QR codes just like the new Aadhar cards. A new PAN Card Digital copy will be delivered to the registered email address. But if you need a physical one you have to order it by paying a small fee of Rs 50.
Benefits of PAN 2.0
The new PAN 2.0 will have QR Codes to easily verify PAN Data from specific reader applications. Also Data vaults will be enhanced for improved cyber security. It will provide users more faster services.
What will happen to Old PAN Cards?
As new PAN 2.0 is announced individuals are worried about what will happen with their old PAN Card. Well, don’t worry as old cards will be valid with out QR Codes. The PAN 2.0 is to upgrade the PAN system and make QR Codes mandatory but both old and new cards will be working just fine.
How much it will cost to get PAN 2.0?
As mentioned previously New PAN 2.0 will be sent to individuals via Email. It will be absolutely free of cost. But if you need a physical card then you have to pay Rs 50 otherwise you can use the old card or card received via mail.
