Pushpa is not a Flower but Fire! This dialogue from the movie is proving itself to be true as pre-release booking and revenue climb up. The hype before releasing ‘Pushpa 2:The Rule’ is off the chart. It has already sold 12 lakh tickets in pre-bookings making the fastest million tickets sold a record.
‘Pushpa 2:The Rule Day’ Impressive Pre-Bookings
Till Tuesday 10 am the movie has sold more than 11,84,957 tickets. Out of which only the Telegu 2D version sold 5,10,489 tickets. Hindi 2d screens sold a total of 4,28,243 tickets. Followed by Malayalam (63,263 tickets), Tamil (51,611), and Kannada (1730) versions.
Total ticket bookings are worth Rs 36.77 Crore in India. And overall Opening Day revenue is expected to reach Rs 250 Cr or more. If this happens then it will break many Opening Day records.
Can Pushpa 2 beat RRR?
Till now the highest opening day collection movie is SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. It made Rs 223 Crore worldwide on release day, with 58.73 Crore in pre-bookings. Now Pushpa 2 is on the run to beat RRR. Tough nothing can be said now but the numbers are looking positive. Not only RRR but if the number holds strong it can break Jawan and KGF: Chapter 2 Records as well.
Pushpa Movie Budget
The movie was made with a budget of Rs 400 to 500 Cr. Where Pushpa AKA Allu Arjun took whooping Rs 300 Cr as acting fees. Rashmika Mandana and Fahad Faasil got Rs 10 Cr and Rs 8 Cr respectively.
