US-based AI healthtech startup Confido Health has raised USD 12.5 million in a Series A extension led by Z47. Existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures also participated, taking the company’s total Series A funding to USD 22.5 million.
The funding round and the investors
Z47 led the fresh USD 12.5 million extension. Together Fund and Blume Ventures, both existing backers, joined the round. Healthcare private equity investor Justin Saks also came on board as an investor and board adviser. The extension follows a USD 10 million Series A round announced in September 2026, and lifts Confido Health total Series A funding to USD 22.5 million. The company had earlier raised USD 3 million in a seed round led by Together Fund in December 2024.
How the capital will be used
Confido Health will use the capital to expand its CareOS platform across healthcare organisations that run multiple locations. It also plans to build AI agents for more workflows and more medical specialities. The bigger shift is in scope: the company started with AI-powered patient calls and is now moving into the administrative tasks connected to those calls.
What CareOS does
Confido Health builds AI agents that automate administrative work for healthcare providers. The work covers patient calls, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, prescription refills and payment collection. These are routine tasks, but they are spread across separate systems at most clinics. CareOS integrates with more than 50 healthcare systems, including electronic health records, practice management software, billing platforms and phone and fax systems. Providers can automate tasks across their existing stack without replacing it.
The platform also links related tasks together. A single patient interaction can trigger follow-up work such as booking an appointment, processing a refill or collecting a payment. Deployments are no-code, and the company says setup takes less than five minutes.

Scale and growth
Confido Health says it serves around 3,200 providers across more than 1,500 care sites in 27 US states. It also says its AI agents enable one in 50 Americans to access healthcare. The company claims 15-fold growth since its previous funding round but did not specify which metric that refers to. It reported AI handling rates above 95 percent across key end-to-end administrative workflows. On workforce impact, it said deployments added operational capacity equal to three to five full-time employees on average within three months, with patient satisfaction averaging 4.55 out of five across roughly one million tasks.
Background and founders
Confido Health was founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff. Its target segments include ophthalmology, optometry, physical therapy, dental care, primary care and community healthcare. It focuses on healthcare groups that operate across multiple sites, particularly those backed by private equity firms. Its distribution strategy leans on that link: it works with private equity investors to get introductions to their portfolio companies.
What happens next
The round comes as investors keep backing AI applications in healthcare, from administrative automation to patient guidance and early disease detection. Indian healthtech startups raised USD 93 million across 13 deals in the third quarter of 2026, according to data cited in the coverage. For Confido Health, the next phase will be judged on how quickly it can take CareOS into more multi-site groups and how many medical specialities its agents can handle.
