Spill Games, a Bengaluru-based mobile gaming studio that uses artificial intelligence to build its titles, has raised USD 10.5 million in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital. The company said its existing backers Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, which had co-led its seed round, also joined.
The cheque comes about six months after Spill Games raised USD 3.1 million in a seed round that Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital co-led in April 2026. Before that, the studio collected USD 750,000 from All In Capital, M-League and angel investors in December 2024.
Started in 2024, Spill Games is trying to change how quickly a small studio can move a game from an idea to a live product sold worldwide.
The Series A Round and Its Investors
Elevation Capital led the round, and its Principal Manish Advani framed the bet around a wider shift. “We believe the next decade will see the rise of AI-native gaming studios that pair AI with strong product instinct, data and rapid experimentation. With a small, fast-moving team, they have the potential to build a portfolio of global games from India,” Advani said.
Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital returned as participants, keeping their association with the studio after the seed stage. Spill Games has not disclosed the valuation set in the Series A or the split between new and returning investors.
How the Money Will Be Used
According to the company, the funds will go to four tasks: growing its existing games, testing and launching more titles, funding user acquisition, and deepening the AI and proprietary tooling under its products. It also plans selective hiring while keeping the team small, with internal systems carrying the workload across several live titles.
The Compass Engine and a Faster Studio Model
At the centre of the model is Compass, a proprietary AI-led engine and tooling layer that brings analytics, retention, monetisation and live operations into one place. Because the studio can reuse that infrastructure across titles, it says it can move from concept to market testing faster than a conventional setup. Spill Games puts its own target at about four times the speed of a traditional development approach.
The studio builds several concepts, turns them into prototypes and tests them with players, then uses that player data to decide which ideas deserve more money.

Portfolio Growth and the Bet on Economics
According to the company, its portfolio has grown from three games to six in less than three months, and its early titles have shown scalable and profitable metrics. The global mobile gaming market is estimated to reach USD 176.7 billion in 2026 and is projected to grow to USD 256.2 billion by 2030, according to market research.
Spill Games makes casual puzzle and hybrid-casual games that are free to play and earn through advertising and in-app purchases. Its thesis is that most games fail on economics rather than ideas, so a studio that tests more concepts at lower cost improves its odds of finding the few titles that carry the rest.
The Founders Behind the Studio
Spill Games was founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg, all earlier operators at PlaySimple Games, a business that had already built and sold mobile games at scale. Misra, co-founder and chief executive, described the studio’s working style as a loop around player response. “We build what excites us, put it in front of players quickly and let their response guide us. When players love something as much as we do, that is when we scale it,” he said.
What Happens Next
With the Series A in place, the immediate task is execution: turn its six games into durable revenue, add more titles to the pipeline, and show that Compass keeps the cost per game low as the portfolio grows. The funding gives Spill Games room to test more ideas before the market decides which ones are worth scaling.
