Clueso, an agentic video platform that builds artificial intelligence agents to create and maintain video for businesses, has raised USD 10 million in a Series A round led by Dharana Capital. The round, announced in October 2026, takes the total funding raised by the company to USD 12 million.
Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures joined as new investors, while Y Combinator and f7 Ventures, both existing backers, also participated. Clueso did not disclose the valuation at which the round was raised.
The Funding Round And Its Investors
The Series A is led by Dharana Capital, an India focused investment firm. Vamsi Duvvuri, founder and managing partner at Dharana Capital, said artificial intelligence is turning video from static media files into living, context aware assets that adapt as a company’s products and processes change. Clueso, he said, is building the infrastructure for that shift.
The round follows Clueso’s earlier seed funding and comes roughly three and a half years after the company was founded. Y Combinator backed Clueso in its Winter 2023 batch, and the latest cheque makes it one of the more recently funded startups in the enterprise AI video space.
What Clueso Builds
Clueso builds AI agents that understand a company’s products, processes, brand and context. Those agents then create and maintain video across the organisation, handling the writing, editing, voiceover and captions that would otherwise fall to a production team.
The company started by helping customer facing teams make product tutorials faster. Akash Anand, co-founder and chief executive, said the same problem turned up in marketing, sales, training and internal documentation, which showed the opportunity was much larger than the first use case.
Customers And The Numbers Behind The Pitch
More than 1,000 companies use the platform for marketing, customer success, education, onboarding and training videos. Its customer list includes Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, GlobalPartners, Seismic and Ironclad.
Clueso says users have reported productivity gains of more than five times and an 80 percent reduction in video production costs. Those figures are the company’s own claims and have not been independently audited, though they sit at the centre of its pitch to enterprise buyers.

How The Money Will Be Used
Clueso will use the funding to scale its enterprise go to market reach, deepen the agentic layer that drives the product and expand its editing capabilities. The company also plans to keep building for teams that need large volumes of video without adding headcount.
Founders And Background
Clueso was founded in 2023 by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash and Neel Balar, all alumni of IIT Madras. Anand is co-founder and chief executive, Prakash is co-founder and chief technology officer, and Balar is co-founder and chief business officer. The company operates from California and Bengaluru and runs as Desklamp, Inc.
The startup also runs a public MCP server and publishes open agent skills so that other AI assistants can produce finished video, and it says it is certified for SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.
What Happens Next
Clueso’s bet is a narrow problem with a wide surface. Most companies now need far more video than they can produce, and the harder task is keeping that video current as products, prices and processes change. It sells software that does that without a production team, and the new funding gives it room to chase larger enterprise accounts and the budgets that come with them.
